We have mixed conversations in forum..
As said above.. there will be some posts that is between few ppl that we don't know the context talking personal or juat fun, maybe we restrain from reacting or commenting..
( That is noticeably less )
Eventhough your reply was to other, i can share my opinion here, bcoz it is common topic
REASON to tag few in a general convo is just get attention of some peiple..
There are lot of threads here so our post will go unnoticed..
Some ppl will tag random ids, and also their friends
If we tag few in general convo, maybe we should add a line anyone can respond.. ( that too not possible all the time right
)There are places where we forget to tag some..
Sometimes we may not get notified.. if not tagged in proper way..
So u can understand the difference right.. whether it is personal or general discussion..

Sorry, but I still don't agree. What is the basic fundamental reason for ppl joining forum? Everyone to share their thoughts, mingle and get to know each other, right? How would anyone get to know others when you start to tag only ppl you know? It will lead to forming small small groups rather than becoming one. Again forum is a public platform so there is no room for personals. Coz everyone can read everything and when u do you should be able to comment.Heyy i completely agree to what u have said..
