Fast and Furious - Intermittent Fasting 💪🏻

If you are fasting for more than 12 hrs or so, it can be considered as intermittent fasting. We are trying for 16 hrs of fasting and 8 hrs window of eating.

If you are not eating anything after ur eve meal at 4 PM, it can be considered as IF, i guess.

The time between 8:00:00 AM and 4:16:58 PM is:

8 hours, 16 minutes, and 58 seconds

8.283 hours

496.97 minutes

29,818 seconds

I think this can still be considered as some sort of fasting ... i have not started eating yet , but i will within half an hour ... and i have a quarter chicken shawaya in my evening food plans :)

Are you eating after ur meal at 4.16 pm? If not, ur fasting window is 16 hrs, which is a great thing!

12,16,18,24 hrs which one comfortable for us
Let's start
If anyone start today or any day please post pic of ur foods if possible. Oru encouragement ah irukum🙏💃💃💪💪🙌🙌
Jam start .. nanum feast elam podren intermittent fasting nu solitu okie ah 😅

Dr Jason Fung & Dr Jammie Moore duo suggest an eating window of 8 hours or less for effectiveness of intermittent fasting. Our office breakfast time is 7:45 am, lunch time is 12 pm. So taking breakfast would close the window by 15:45, impractical to eat anything there. I guess I have to skip breakfast and plunge directly into lunch at 12-12:30 so that I can do the second meal by 18:30 -19:30 and adhere to intermittent fasting window
It's not when u eat matters, what u eat matters the most.never start with carb ever. I did keto along with IF and reduced 5 kg and that's it. u just lose water weigh and nothing else. To lose fat u got to religiously stick to the plan along with weight training excercise. The trick to losing weight (fat) is calories in and calories out. Measure the calories u eat, for men it's 2500cal and women it's 2000cal. I started cutting carb drastically and lost weight continuously without realising it. For Indians carbs is the key to losing weight. Trust me. I have done it. I was 63kg and reduced to 52.3 kg and I am 5'4" tall. It works!

Agreed carbs basically causes. Besides the timing does the additional damage to the metabolism and thus a viscous cycle of accumulation.

btw you could be underweight for 5'4" person, 52 something is much lesser unless you're a women.

Me 5'6" done with weight reduction from 67 something to 62. now Into increasing muscle weight. Still hovering around 62-63. Not much progress yet.

Yes, I am a female. I come under healthy weight. Still wanna get to 50, that's my goal. My body fat was in obese category before I started even though I had lean bodymass. After the diet and excercise it has improved a lot.
Cut down on sugar, no added sugar in any food. Try resistance training excercise to build up ur muscles. Lift weights!!! Ur energy level & strength will increase. And also will help sharpen ur memory.

Kudos. You are an inspiration. There use to be another user ilakkiya who update such hard workouts here in another thread here.
Inspirational too besides one user Happylife. He too regularly posts his daily achievements there.

On the job. Turned vegan recently and taking only black coffee with cinnamon. I guess jaggery will also be counted on as sugar. how about stevia leaves / powder sweeteners? stop those anyways?

Doing strength training besides boxing once in a while. HIIT and strength training usually with weights. Gradually to increase weights. I attend dance and yoga sessions for flexibility.
