Chat2Friends is an online chat community for adults aged 18 and over. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, and we prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on every part of our service. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves and our users to.
Our commitments
- Chat2Friends is strictly for users aged 18 and over. Users must confirm they are 18 or older before joining any room.
- We prohibit any content, conduct or contact that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor. This includes CSAM, grooming, sextortion, solicitation of minors, and the sharing of links to such material.
- We prohibit users from sharing sexualised imagery of anyone under 18, including computer-generated, drawn or edited imagery.
- Accounts found engaging in CSAE are permanently banned without warning.
How to report child safety concerns
Anyone can report child safety concerns to us, whether or not they hold an account:
- In the chat — use the report option on a message or user profile to report content or behaviour to our moderators.
- By email — write to [email protected] at any time, with “child safety” in the subject line so it is triaged straight away. Include the room name, the username, and the approximate time.

Reports of child safety concerns are prioritised above all other reports.
How we respond
- We review reports of CSAE as a priority and act on confirmed violations by removing the content and permanently banning the account.
- We preserve relevant records as required by law.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant regional and national authorities, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
- We comply with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating child safety offences.
Preventing access by minors
- Users must confirm they are 18 or older before entering a room.
- Our app is rated for adults and distributed to an 18+ audience on Google Play.
- Accounts we identify as belonging to a minor are removed from the service.
